PvP Scenarios: Khaine's EmbraceKhaine's Embrace is the Dark Elf vs. High Elf Tier 1 Scenario and is quite a bit different from the Tier 1 Scenario I've already presented that came from the Chaos vs. Empire setting. Khaine's Embrace is a 12 player Scenario that is designed as a take and retreat scenario. I know, Take and Retreat doesn't make any sense. The reason you have to retreat is because if you ever control both points on the map, they will explode and kill everyone that isn't protected in the nearby cave system. TacticsI'm going to take a quick change of pace and do a few articles on other aspects of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. I'd like to talk to you guys about Tactics. Yeah, I know you've got them and they are better than anyone else's on the interwebs, but let's put away our Epeens for a second, because I want to talk about a different kind of Tactic. (Literally). The keeps are controlled by one side and the opposing side can choose to siege it, similar to a public quest. Black Orc Review That's right, two reviews in one night! I know you're all excited. Today I talk about the Destruction's second tank, the Black Orc. The Black Orc is able to use Heavy Armor, Spikey Shields, Choppas, and Great Choppas. They are very similar to the Chosen in this manner. Disciple of KhaineToday I'm going to tell you guys about the Disciple of Khaine, the Destruction Side's only melee healer. Healer you say? In a PvP oriented game? Never! But I assure, not only are they present, but they excel in PvP, unlike that other game that I'm not going to mention right now where your only option is to heal and then die. First a breakdown of the Disciple of Khaine's features that you can look forward to. The Disciple of Khaine wears medium robes and can choose to duel wield swords or use a one handed sword and a chalice. Duel Wielding is used when the Disciple of Khaine chooses to do more damage, while the Chalice is used, typically, when you want to do better healing. This isn't always the case though because the Disciple of Khaine, or DoK for short, can also heal while doing damage. First off, there are now Bind on Account items, which are pretty cool. They are the same as Bind on Pickup items, however, you can trade them to characters across your own account! That's not the best part either... Read More >> by chatters posted on September 10, 2008 05:36 Tagged in: PS3Jeopardy!'s first video trailer came out of nowhere. And now, the game is making a stealthy surprise attack on the PLAYSTATION Store. The downloadable quiz game will be available on PSN tomorrow for $14.99. The SOE-developed game promises over 2500 clues and categories for play in online and offline multiplayer games. There'll also be expansions available in 2009. However, Trophy fanatics -- don't get too excited. Although there's a built-in rewards system, you will not be unlocking any XMB Trophies with this one.
However, there is some hope for a patch in the future: "Wheel of Fortune will feature XMB Trophies and we will look at patching JEOPARDY for XMB Trophies at a later date."
by Hikariu posted on September 10, 2008 11:16 Tagged in: RKGamersThe game known as SPORE was released on Sept 7th. Take a look at the sporepedia
After nearly eight years in the making, the world saw the release of Spore from Will 'Toy Maker' Wright's Maxis studio. Spore has been touted and speculated as a god game or a simulation of everything; however, in our humble opinion it's neither a game nor a complete simulation, at least not in the strictest sense of the words. What Spore offers is an opportunity for a controlled experiment in nature, or evolution if you will.
